The Salem native has studied and performed with the American Ballet Theater, Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, Leon Danielson, Peter Gennaro, June Taylor, and Johnny Coy of the Ziegfield Follies. The list of his Broadway, road companies and television credits is long, and includes the Broadway Company of "Take Me Along" and the National Company of "Guys and Dolls."
